With your sponsorship you can secure a place at our children’s home for a child that we saved from slavery.
Your regular donation helps us to take care of all the children that are staying at our children’s home and to provide them with anything they need to fulfill their essential needs – such as medical and psychological care, food, clothing, going to school and last but not least love and affection through our foster parents.
The Ministry of Social Welfare decides on how long the children may stay with us and that depends on several aspects:
- How traumatized is the child and how long is psychological care needed?
- Does it have to testify in court?
- Is the child in danger of being detected? (The names of the children are changed for their own safety)
- How healthy is the child?
- How long does it take to find relatives that can take care of the child? In general, a child stays for at least two years.
Your sponsorship at a glance
- With 50 EUR per month you can provide a place at our children’s home.
- You receive information on the child that is currently taking that place.
- You receive pictures and reports from our children’s homes, annually.
- There is no legal committment. You can cancel your sponsorship at any time, without giving reasons.
- Your sponsorship is tax deductable. You will receive a donation receipt from us once a year.
