„RTL wir helfen Kindern“ -Foundation children’s hospital

Thanks to the support of the “RTL Wir helfen Kindern“ Foundation, we were able to built a children’s hospital with an additional department for prevention and family planning (Child Health Reproductive Unit) in Brodi, a village located in the Brong Ahafo Region.

By providing access to a children’s hospital, we want to reduce child mortality and secure basic medical treatment. Along with the construction of a department for preventive measures, such as vaccination campaigns, reproductive medicine, family planning, and housing units for the staff, we are implementing a holistic approach.

This approach goes hand in hand with the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Nos 4, 5, and 6: reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, and combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases.

Description of the project:

• Children’s hospital and emergency room for children
• Station/Office for prevention and family planning
• Storage room and recreational room
• Staff housing units

The operation of the hospital follows standard operational and administrative procedures.
