10 Alpine Passes for Clean Drinking Water

Three men, three bikes, one goal: With the initiative “Summits for Ghana”, Sven, Michael, and Jens will be pushing their limits from August 5 to 8 – and all for a good cause. Their charity tour will take them over 10 Alpine passes, covering around 450 kilometers and climbing more than 10,500 meters in elevation – an impressive feat!

Through this athletic challenge, they aim to raise funds for the construction of a well in the village of Subsino, Ghana. The community still lacks access to safe drinking water. The cost of building the waterproject is €9,000, and it will provide clean water to thousands of people for years to come!

Season 4 on Prime Video!

We are thrilled to announce that our founder, Bettina Landgrafe, is featured in the fourth season of the economic documentary series SELFMADE.

The series shares authentic stories of entrepreneurs who have created something remarkable through courage, creativity, and perseverance.

In a personal interview, Bettina offers insights into her extraordinary journey: how a vision turned into concrete support for people in Ghana, the challenges she faced while founding Madamfo Ghana – and why compassion, responsibility, and faith play a central role in her work.

The exclusive premiere of the new season will take place on May 22, 2025, at the Musikbrauerei in Berlin. Alongside Bettina, many other inspiring personalities from business, media, and culture will be in attendance.

Her participation in this season brings greater visibility to our work – and we hope it inspires many viewers to take action themselves.

Ghanaian television station TV3 covered our initiative, through which we were able to bring joy to many children in Ghana. They received much-needed school supplies, uniforms, and other learning materials – a valuable support for a successful start to the new school year.

On March 8th, under clear blue skies, the charity walk “Wandern für die Andern” took place in Breckerfeld. Numerous hiking enthusiasts tackled routes of 5, 10, and 15 kilometers, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and camaraderie.

Great joy at the Children’s Shelter Ho: Thanks to the generous support of our longtime friend and sponsor, Atze Schröder, we were able to purchase a new minibus! The old bus was no longer roadworthy, making a reliable transport solution for the children an urgent necessity.

On January 21st, the wait was finally over – the new Toyota Hiace was delivered and put into service right away. Now, the children can safely travel to school, medical appointments, and recreational activities again. The children’s home team also benefits, as shopping trips and administrative errands can now be handled much more efficiently.

A huge thank you to Atze Schröder for making this important project possible – his support truly makes a difference in the children’s daily lives!

• Donations by bank transfer/standing order, credit card or Paypal must be credited to our account by 30.12.2024.
• Donations via SEPA direct debit (online) must be made to us by 8 p.m. on 22.12.2024 at the latest. We will collect all SEPA one-off and initial donations by 30.12.2024. All subsequent donations from existing standing orders will be debited on the usual dates.
