Debibi Water Project

In village Debibi, in the Brong Ahafo region, live about 2,000 people. There are 11 schools with more than 1,000 students.

The only well in the village is by far not enough and is also dilapidated and constantly broken. Then the people are forced to fetch water from streams and rivers, which exposes them to a high risk of disease.

A mechanised water supply system for the village with storage tanks and several standpipes will now solve the problem. A special water committee will be set up for maintenance and the people will be trained for the maintenance work.

Status: completed
Costs: 6.000,00 Euro
