Kindergarten for Morle

Project background:
Morle is an agricultural community in the Jaman North District in the Bono Region of Ghana. Currently, more than 100 children attend the local kindergarten, which is connected to the Morle Presby School.

The kindergarten children were housed in a shed and in an old, half-demolished building – without protection from the weather and reptiles.
During the rainy season, the entire school including the kindergarten was closed, which naturally has an effect on the learning progress of the pupils.

Project description:
Construction of a new kindergarten building with a total of 3 classrooms and a teacher’s office, with complete interior equipment.

Status: completed, sponsored by Jan Stemshorn with family and freinds
Costs: 28,000€
